Algarve Restaurants And Bars Lowering Prices To Attract Trade

Restaurants and Bars in the Algarve

Restaurants and bars in the Algarve are lowering their prices to try and attract an increase in customers as the summer season approaches.

According to a report by the Portuguese news agency Lusa, the restaurants and bars in the Algarve are actively cutting prices of their products to counter the effects of the financial situation currently facing Portugal and Europe as a whole.

Not only have the number of clients visiting bars and restaurants fallen but so to has the amount of money that each customer spends as tourists and residents curb their spending to fit in with wage cuts and the increased costs of living.

Restaurante Trindade Lagos – Algarve Restaurant Review

"Steak on the stone"This is one of those restaurants that we have been meaning to visit for some time but have not quite got around to it.

My mum and dad are on holiday here and are always telling us about new restaurants they have visited and how nice it has been so we were expecting great things with Restaurante Trindade.

We went just the five of us – Mum, Dad, Me, Dominic and Kyle. When you saw it from the outside it just looks like a scruffy looking café and when you see the lovely seating inside you can’t believe it is the same place.

Rodizio Grill Brazil – Restaurante Palmerias Review

"Rodizio Grill Brazil"I have recently enjoyed my second trip to the Rodizio Grill Brazil that is located at Camping Turiscampo at Espiche. It is a wonderful campsite and the restaurant on site is fantastic.

I have had the buffet on several occasions but this is only my second chance to re-test the Brazilian. I love the Brazilian that you get at a selection of restaurants in the Algarve but this one has to be my personal favourite. Its just a shame that it is more than 30 minutes away from where we live otherwise we would go much more often.

Algarve Restaurants: Restaurante Sérgio (Olhão)

I remember the first time that I went to Sergio’s in Olhão. It was amazing meal and in a way I wish I had never been because I constantly have their food on my brain and if I never went I would never know what I was missing.

It was back in September 2008 and we went for my husband’s 32nd birthday with my parents and some other friends. My mum and dad had only just arrived in the Algarve for the winter months and were telling us how great the food was.
