Littlewoods Europe is an absolute Godsend for us expats here in the Algarve. It works just the same as the catalogue companies in the UK such as Kays, and Littlewoods but Littlewoods Europe deliver to your door step and I absolutely love it.

There are many places on the Algarve that you can buy clothes etc but with Littlewoods Europe you have the option of buying well known brands at reasonable prices. It is not unusual to pay well over the odds for branded items here in Portugal and you can’t help being sometimes left with that feeling that you have been slightly ripped off.

Whatever you order from Littlewoods  Europe you have to pay a 5 Euro delivery charge which is quite acceptable and you also have the added security of being covered by the Littlewoods return policy which is just the same as in the UK. Most of the ex pats that I know who live in the Algarve have the Littlewoods catalogue and being able to choose all manner of items, many with a designer label, is far more important that you could ever imagine unless you lived here.

The Littlewoods brand is really expanding quickly in Europe and it looks like they are offering all sorts of promotions to spread the word, so to speak. I often receive letters and emails offering some absolute bargains from them, I sometimes think they must have made a mistake in their three for two offers but the offers keep coming in. To start using Littlewoods Europe it is just a case of opening an account with them and then either choosing the items that you require from the catalogue that is provided or through the internet.

I would recommend that you shop through the internet as you will be able to see all of the latest offers and you are also shown the level of stock for your chosen purchase and all manner of other important information. If you are living in the Algarve I really cannot recommend littlewoods Europe highly enough. One thing that I have noticed though, is that if you are expecting a delivery try and make sure that you are at home or if the item does not require a signature for delivery make sure that clear instructions, in Portuguese obviously, are left to tell the delivery man where to leave the parcel. I have heard all sorts of stories about parcels being left in all manner of strange places or ultimately going missing. Just leave clear instructions and everything will be fine and I’m sure that you will end up using Littlewoods Europe on a regular basis, just like me.
